Birthday party the weekend before or after actual birthday?

My son turns 2 on Halloween, which is a Thursday this year. I'm trying to decide if I should have his party the weekend before Halloween or the weekend after. Any thoughts?

I think there will be less going on the weekend after and will give you time to send invites and hope no one has made prior plans.

Weekend after. People still have plans a couple days before Halloween because I have a Halloween event on the 26th, because it falls on a Saturday. So most places doing events will be doing it the weekend of the 26/27 just because it’s the weekend. So I say do the birthday after. Definitely. If you do it the week before don’t be surprised if people reply back “we’re busy! We have a Halloween event. We’re invited to this other thing” etc etc.

If you want to do a costume party, you should do it the weekend before. If you want a regular party, do it the weekend after.

Weekend after because a lot of people have Halloween parties and pumpkin picking the week before!

Weekend after, otherwise it's still all about Halloween. Take down the Halloween decorations and celebrate the birthday boy! 🎉

After. Especially as his birthday is on Thursday so towards the end of the week.

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Hi guys so I’m 25 weeks today and I haven’t felt the baby kick at all yet at the scans she’s moving constantly that it’s hard to get the right measurements my first pregnancy was cryptic so I just want suggestions from one worried mother

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

I am so done with pregnancy !

Everything i do hurt . I sit down / i stand up / i walk / i lie down. I am in pain ! I am tired ! His mouvement hurt down there like electricity chock ! My back is on fire ! If i walk more then 5 minutes i feel like i am going to die ( low ferritine) the acid reflux is crazy . I mean i can’t and don’t wanna do this no more . Only 31 weeks !
