I’m always sick between 8-9 then continue to feel sick for hours after to. It’s awful! I’m trying Gaviscon after meals and sickness bands but they don’t seem to make a difference x

I found the only time the nausea went away was when I was eating 😅 maybe try nibbling on something plain to see if that buys you enough time to get to sleep?
It is tough but it will end eventually.
Also I find listening to some nice music or a soothing podcast can help relax my mind in the wee small hours (especially now when my newborn feeds a funny times of the night)

Sounds like you might have reflux, I had this in first trimester and it got progressively worse until 14-16 weeks. The reason it gets worse at night is because your stomach is empty and there is just stomach acid rattling around in there. I found a few things helped:

- Ritz crackers by my bed. As soon as i started to feel a teensy bit sick in the night Id have a few
- Sleeping with my head propped up on 3 pillows so it was raised more above my body
- Having a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar mixed in water every morning on an empty stomach and then waiting 1 hr before eating
- Eating every 2 hrs in the day
- Finishing my last food no less than 1 hr before bed so I dont have an empty stomach
- No carbonated drinks

You can get meds like omeprazole from your GP but its not ideal before 12 weeks, mine started at 6.5/7 weeks. I tried gaviscon and antacids but neither of them helped. It took a long time to figure these things out and I wish Id known sooner as it was a real struggle. So I hope this helps you!

Help

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Little girl turning herself sideways in next to me

My little girl tonight, has spun herself so she is lying sideways in her next to me, making me panic!

Is this normal at 4.5 months, do I just lie her back normally/vertically?

Labour??

I’ve had on/off mild period cramps since 9 last night, very irregular and very mild, but I just had one that woke me up. My waters haven’t gone and nor has my mucous plug… but could this be a sign that it’s close?! I’m 40+3 and desperate to meet her!

Ways to induce labor naturally

Hi All! FTM, Entering week 40 and no signs of labor, no dilation yet. Please share tips and ways to induce natural labor. Induction is already scheduled on week 41 but don’t want to go through that process.

Early waters/pre term labour?

I can’t get checked until later today unfortunately. I can’t tell if I’m leaking/starting early. I definitely think I’m having braxton hicks yesterday and today.. i have some pain in my back but she is quite low down so hoping it’s just pressure, baby was a little quieter yesterday but she’s back to more normal movements today, but my underwear just seems to get so wet, especially after going to the bathroom. And I honestly can’t work out the smell, I’m pretty sure it’s just discharge/urine leaking but there’s that worry in my mind a little. Are there any other ways to know/check if it could be the start of it all?
