My baby is about to turn one me and my partner have spoken about the possibility of having a second in the future, but we’ve not decided on anything definitely
We’ve just found out my sister-in-law is pregnant and I’m so excited for her but it makes me miss that feeling of excitement finding out you’re pregnant and going through pregnancy at the same time I absolutely adore my little boy and I just worry that bringing another baby into the equation will take away the full love and attention that I can give to him
If you have more than one baby, how did you find it? Did you make the decision to have more than one or did it just happen? How do you find the same amount of love to give to another child?
Thank you, if you’ve read all this

First of all the love you have for your 1st doesn’t halve when you have a 2nd. It’s not like having 100% & then it splitting 50/50. You will love any children you have completely, 100% to them as honestly you just find that you have more love to give. I will say that as a Mum of 2 boys the single greatest thing about having more than one is watching their relationship with each other develop. My 2yo adores my 6mo & vice versa, from the moment my 2yo wakes up he asks for ‘baby Theo’ & as soon as they both get in a room together they’re fascinated by each other, laughing, playing, staring, you can literally see love pouring out of each of them towards each other. Now I fully expect there to be tons of times in the future where they won’t get along, that’s all siblings, but watching them grow together is amazing. I’m pregnant with my 3rd, another boy, & I can’t wait to see how they both react to him. I always wanted at least 2 as soon as I had my first & I think we’ll stop at 3 tbh
