Any recommendations for Christmas gifts. My boy will be 8 months old just after Christmas. I don't want to overdo it as he's still so little but would like to get some things that will help with development or things he will have use of for a long time. I'm so stumped. Any ideas?

These things we or family are buying my LO: trike (from 10 months to 5 years- turns into a balance bike, an animal rocker, bubble machine and bubbles, walker with activities on which turns into a dolls pram, bath toys, busy board (for the plane), vtech dog (goes up in stages of age).

we’ve got our little girl lots of books to start of her collection , some for now and when she’s older sensory ones etc , a rocking horse which is 10m+ , bath sensory toys , bubble blowing car , she’ll be nearly 9 months at xmas xx

A walker, coat, and books with a stocking of small bits from us rubber duck, socks, snacks etc. family I've asked for clothes in the next size, books or money for his savings account

I've gotten some clothes, a few large bibs, a couple small soft toys, the crawling crab from tiktok and the singing cactus. (Anything noisy) lol
Family and friends asked for ideas, we've asked them for bath time toys like rubber ducks...etc and something to store them in.

Teddy bear, doll, books, bath toy, and he’s being handed down a walker from his older cousin.

We're doing our baby a sensory tent , like in the play groups , we got a little fish lamp to go in it at the moment and some clear bottles and made her sensory rattles with things like coloured rice ECT x

I got loads of toys for stocking fillers from TEMU, so many good bits on there for really cheap! Also a trike (was a Hand-me-down from my nephew), books and a bag for nursery

We are getting a tonie box and nothing else. He doesn’t know the difference and we will have lots of gifts to open from others. We still have all of my daughter’s early toys but we only bought her a tonie box for her first Christmas too. We have a small house and don’t have a huge amount of space for stuff. When something was needed developmentally, we bought it at that point so it wasn’t hanging around getting in the way.
I’m excited about him outgrowing some of the toys so we can get rid of some finally.
