7th percentile for height ?

I went to the doctors today and they did some measurements.
My LO is 7 months and currently he is 89th for BMI , 8.5kg 50th percentile weight and 66.7cm for height.

I thought 66.7 is average for a boy his age .
I’m curious to hear others please .
I don’t know if I should freak out or not

I wouldn't panic. As long as he's growing and putting on weight still you know he's doing well. We've not had any BMI checks yet but we did see our HV the other week. My little girl was born in the 9th centile and jumped to the 50th at about 4 months and has stayed in that 50th bracket since. BMI is never an exact science as it doesn't take in muscle weight or bone density

if the doctor had no concerns, why should you? x

I think this is the only country where the percentile is so important. It stress lot of us mums out! I wouldn't worry at all...they tried to stress me out months ago with my baby weight percentile, they even suggested I would wake her up at night for an extra feed ( she was sleeping through the night at 3mo) ...my face said it all! I could tell she was fine, a bit fluffy even ...and now she is above the 50th percentile. They make you worry for no reason!

I’ve never took notice of percentile.

Don’t freak out lovely, he’s just currently on the shorter side, but they can have growth spurts! My lg was between the 2nd & 9th centile for weight, I’m not concerned, she is just smaller then most babies x
