I usually drop around 37 ish weeks. I had my first at 41 weeks so in my experience it wasn’t any indication of labor. It’s just a sign that baby is engaging into the pelvis like they hopefully should be. I’ve also lost my mucus plug every time before labor but it was slowly losing it over a couple of weeks with my first 2. With my 3rd I lost it I believe a week before I went into labor. I know the last trimester is hard but try to keep baby cooking for as long as possible! I want mine out as well but I’m only 34 weeks 😂

First pregnancy - My stomach never dropped! I was losing my mucus plug continuously from 32 weeks until birth lol

This pregnancy, my stomach still hasn’t dropped (I’m 37 weeks) and I haven’t lost any of my mucus plug!

Never dropped in my first pregnancy, went into labor at 36.5 weeks. 33 weeks with my second and haven’t dropped nor lost mucus plug. I don’t think it happens for everyone, especially if you deliver a few weeks early.

This time around my baby is low that everyone thinks I'm due super soon. I have 8 weeks to go. I think that's an old wives tale.

At almost 34 weeks, my belly dropped little by little every day. Haven’t lost my mucus plug yet

I never dropped with my son but he was in my pelvis the entire time. I dropped 2 weeks ago with this one and been having pain ever since. Not everyone loses the mucus plug. I didn’t with my son but had to call the dr yesterday from seeing slight blood when I went to the bathroom. Was told it was the bloody show and labor can start anytime now.

Help

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Little girl turning herself sideways in next to me

My little girl tonight, has spun herself so she is lying sideways in her next to me, making me panic!

Is this normal at 4.5 months, do I just lie her back normally/vertically?

Labour??

I’ve had on/off mild period cramps since 9 last night, very irregular and very mild, but I just had one that woke me up. My waters haven’t gone and nor has my mucous plug… but could this be a sign that it’s close?! I’m 40+3 and desperate to meet her!

Ways to induce labor naturally

Hi All! FTM, Entering week 40 and no signs of labor, no dilation yet. Please share tips and ways to induce natural labor. Induction is already scheduled on week 41 but don’t want to go through that process.

Early waters/pre term labour?

I can’t get checked until later today unfortunately. I can’t tell if I’m leaking/starting early. I definitely think I’m having braxton hicks yesterday and today.. i have some pain in my back but she is quite low down so hoping it’s just pressure, baby was a little quieter yesterday but she’s back to more normal movements today, but my underwear just seems to get so wet, especially after going to the bathroom. And I honestly can’t work out the smell, I’m pretty sure it’s just discharge/urine leaking but there’s that worry in my mind a little. Are there any other ways to know/check if it could be the start of it all?

Groin pain?

So I’m 34 weeks with my second and for a couple days now I’ve had terrible groin pain so bad that sometimes I can’t even walk or shift a certain way or I feel like the baby is just gonna rip out of my groin… I definitely was uncomfortable towards the end with my last pregnancy but this is just absolutely awful. Is anyone else experiencing this? Or anything that helps?? It’s making it so hard to still care for a toddler when I can barely move without pain..
