We recently took a 5 hour road-trip from NYC to Maryland for Thanksgiving and my baby didn’t cry and was pretty good for the majorly of the trip, she fussed a bit on the way back but then was fine after a pit stop.
Fast toward to now, we are on vacation in Jamacia and we want to go touring and do things around the island but whenever she sits in the car seat she screams and works herself up into tears and does not calm down. It breaks my heart and idk what to do.
We have tried toys, bottles, pacifier, adjusted the seat, took out the infant insert, I sit back there with her. She only stops crying when we take her out of the seat.
I just want her to be comfortable so we can do more things with her while we are here.
Not sure why she was fine on the first trip but now she hates it so much

My 4 month old has the same problem. He’s calm now only to a repeat of this abc song by finney the shark. When I say repeat I mean within seconds or he starts screaming bloody murder. It amazes me and I hear it in head at night lol BUT it works. Hope this helps!!

I will try anything lol thank you!

Is something uncomfortable on the car seat? Sounds like it’s only while in Jamaica. Is that her normal seat? Maybe something is bothering here while seating…?

Maybe the heat?

Try feeding and changing her before you put her in the car seat so that way she’s more likely to doze off

it’s the same seat she is always in and she is fine if we put her in it while not in the car but then crys if we put it in the car
