Hospital vs Home birth expenses

I went completely unmedicated with my 2 hospital births so it was just me getting there, having a baby, and leaving for reference. Those were around $10,000. I had a birth center birth that was a smidge over $5000- $4000 for the birth and $1000 for my prenatal visits and this time I’ll be having a homebirth which is $4000 but I decided to have a doula as well which is another $1000.

Both the hospital and birth center were with insurance

With my first pregnancy I didn’t have to pay anything since I have insurance and it’s going to be the same with this pregnancy 38w
