It’s not a bad seat but will be pricey in the long run as it will need replacing by a seat with a higher harness limit in about 2-2.5 years.

Cost isn’t an issue in regards to the seat, and to an extend it doesn’t bother me too much if it’s not one that’s going to last in the long run. My mum will be my childcare when I return to work and she will really struggle without the isofix base until little one is able to climb in and out with assistance hence why I’d asked about this particular seat x

what age on average the Axkid go up to?

it says age 4, but this is the ‘average’ child.
It’s 18kg and 105cm, that could be age 2 or age 6 depending on the child centiles.
Centiles over 50th and this seat would be no good to get to HBB age x

they aren’t by age, they’re by height and weight.

I’ve checked and he’s on the 50th for weight and between the 0.4th and 2nd for height if I’ve worked it out correctly

that seems like a big gap, it may well be correct but do you have his most recent measurements?
