Start routine at 9 and usually asleep anywhere from 9.45-10.30. including nappy, bottle, white noise, waiting for deep sleep before transferring to next to me x

Bottle, dark room and white noise on last feed which is anytime 6-7pm, asleep by 8 latest. My little girls sleeping until 7:30/8am so I don’t mind putting her down a bit earlier in evening because my little boy is up from 6am so if she wakes earlier it won’t matter :)

Start bottle at 9 and can go on anything from as late as 10:30/11 depending xx

Just wondering, when you say dark room, is this in your bedroom? I want my baby to have a better nights sleep but end up bringing her upstairs with me about 10ish and sometimes it's past midnight until she's asleep. Do I need to be starting a bedtime routine upstairs in bedroom where she sleeps and if so what do I do once she's asleep? Just stay in bedroom from 8pm 🙈

Safe sleep guidelines say they should be sleeping in the same room as you until 6 months so we don't put him to bed on his own. He goes down when we go to bed. So anytime between 9.30 and 11 depending on the night. Around 8pm he has nappy change, sleepsack on, and boob in the living room. He naps then until we go to bed and usually has another feed about 10pm when I get into bed. Sleeps until 4am, wakes for nappy and feed, then sleeps again until 8am. Sometimes he'll wake twice, around 3 and 6

Yeah, dark room
Is babies room :) I’m starting a bedtime routine now in her own room as I did this with my little boy and it worked well 🤞🏼 so dark in her own room and white noise on, sleeping bag on, don’t speak to her etc so she knows when it’s dark and quiet it’s nighttime then I’m chatty and noisy in daytime :)

Oh and yeah I was just going to bed when she went to bed but tonight is the first time we used a camera and I went back downstairs :) we’ve had dinner and watched tv without a toddler or baby with us for months and it was bliss haha x

We get into bed as a family at 8:30/9 and do the last feed with the lights off whilst me and my partner watch tv with the volume very low, then we cuddle in bed till he’s asleep and transfer to his crib. Hes conked out by 9:30 and I’m asleep by 10/10:30

8-9pm depending on how naps work out.

I’m jealous of you all.. my baby was going to bed at 11 and I thought this was a win but about 3 weeks ago his dad had him while I went to my uncles surprise party and since then his new bed time is 1am.. I’m trying to get it back to 11 (or earlier if I can) haha!

when are you starting the day as that can be a big factor? Ideally 12-13 hours before you want him to go to bed.

8:30/9

Whenever I've finished tidying up 🙈 usually ends up some time between 10-11pm x

My baby is nearly 5 months — his last bottle is at 7.30pm and 9/10 times he’s fast asleep by 8/8.30 in my arms … so I carry him up to his own room, and his own bed .. slowly zip him up into his sleeping bag.. he never wakes .. then he’ll wake up around 6am on average x

Start bedtime routine at 630pm, asleep by 7:15pm ish. We had tibget her into a routine earlier as I then put her sister to bed after this. She tends to wake about 6:45/7am which works for us. With 2-3 might feeds in between. Same as above- keep our room dark, red light, white noise, sleeping bag. I tend to go to bed around 8pm atm (😅🙈) so she's not really on her own but if you have a good camera monitor I think from 3-4 months onwards, going back down stairs isn't a problem.

Whenever I go to bed, he falls asleep on the sofa at some point in the evening and we carry him up when we go up. He wakes at 1 and 5 pretty much regardless of when he falls asleep in the evening

My baby sleeps around 12am as the final sleep that lasts the stretch of hours. Up until then it’s all just naps.
Question to the mamas here, How do we go about bringing the final sleep down sooner? My baby will just wake up as if it’s a normal short nap 😅 x

I usually get her bed ready around her 8pm feed but in general doesn’t actually go to bed until we go up around 11

Wake your baby at a consistent time each morning about 12-13 hours before you want them to go to bed. We always start the day by 8am and he goes to bed at 8-9pm. I stopped trying to settle my baby downstairs and started doing it in his room with a bedtime routine and he just took it as proper bedtime rather than a nap. Bath if bath day, massage, sleepsuit, sleep bag on, low light and white noise then I get him to sleep.
