Stay at home partner

Id love to have that lifestyle tbh! What do you do for work?

I’m a lawyer. It’s pretty good I don’t get why it’s so uncommon

I’m the main earner in our house but hub is self employed so it’s a lot harder for him to take time out

We're figuring that out now in my house. I'm a professor with tenure at a job with good benefits and I also make significantly more money. My spouse doesn't like his job and has had trouble finding a different job. I think we need two incomes, but we're considering whether this is really doable without his income given how hard it's been already to find childcare and how expensive it is.

It’s great if you do but people still think it’s weird like it’s 1950. People have been telling my partner he is “unemployed”? Like no one would say that to a stay at home mom of a young toddler
