Changing hospitals

Happens in terms of what? You can choose whatever you want to give birth. Usually you ask to transfer over and you will still have antenatal and postnatal care by the midwives in your area but you will have scans etc and give birth at your chosen hospital. Each area might be different so just speak to your hospital. it’s not a controversial thing, happens all the time xx

Shouldn’t be! How early are you? Midwife appointments will still be with local hospital and your scans will be with your chosen hospital. As long as they transfer your notes over and the new hospital processes your requests in time it should be fine. I’d just give them plenty of notice and chase it up if you feel like you’ve waited a long time xx
