I’m desperate for some sleep! He slams his legs all night long! I’m absolutely exhausted. He seems to be asleep during most of the leg lifting and slamming down. How long does it last for? We even moved him into a bigger bed incase he was uncomfortable in his next to me crib.

Have you considered a swaddle?

It’s a self soothing method they grow out of it x

Its a self soothing thing, when my daughter turned 6 months it stopped but occasionally did it a few times after that its called whale tail i believe kept us up all night it was also her way to wake us up once she had🤣🤣

How old is your baby? Can you move them I to their own room yet? Mine does this and I don't hear it as much on the monitor 🤣

It’s called active sleeping.
My baby moves and wiggles in his sleep, whimpers and laughs. It can last hours!

My son is 2.5 and still slams his legs on his crib when he's going to sleep 😅 luckily its not all night, just at the syart of naps/bedtime

he is almost 6 months. I’ve just moved him from his next to me to a cot (still in our room) as I thought he might want some more space.

I did give a swaddle a try but he didn’t like his arms being restricted. We went back to the sleeping bag.

Agh, can you not move him into his own room now then? I didn't want my daughter to move rooms at 6 months, I kept her back and extra couple of weeks but now she's out and everyone's sleeping better x

im really nervous about him going into his own room. I dont know why. It’s right next door and we have a camera. He sleeps in there for his naps too!
