Moving to New Mexico

My husband and I decided to move to New Mexico soon. We would like some help finding someone that can help us get a house or apartment and works with bad credit. We would also like to know whatever information yall would like to share with us about the state. We have a 10 month old little boy, 4 dogs and a hamster

*edit* we don’t care too much about location as long as it’s relatively safe, however would prefer more mountain areas*

Do you have a town you are looking to move to?

Las Cruces, is a great welcoming and growing community. 45 min drive from El Paso, TX.

Letting us know what town will help. I live in Las Cruces it's growing a lot and El Paso TX isn't far so for the stuff we don't have here not a far drive.

, no we don’t. We want somewhere around or in the mountains. We like hunting and other outdoor activities (if that ain’t the most Texas thing ever to say 😅)

@Kass, if you like the mountain, you would probably want more like Ruidoso or Cloudcroft. I used to live in Ruidoso very pretty and lots of mountains. I used to go bow hunting, so there were lots of different areas for hunting. It snows, and their is skiing, snowboarding, tubing.

I live in Mimbres which is a little town surrounded by mountains and beautiful places to go for outdoors things! It's pretty remote, but it's about 20 min from Silver City which is a cool little artsy town

I walk outside of my house and it's 360* view of mountains which is my favorite part!

Did you end up moving? How has it been for you if so? Considering the same so any insight would be great.
