What are everyone's thoughts on this chair? I wanted to use it for weaning and for the future does anyone else use this? If so what are your thoughts?x

We have one and it’s fantastic!

Did you use it when you started weaning? Or is it best to get a high chair?

Avatar

We use one of these as a travel one and it definitely does the job 🙂 does it also have straps to attach to dining chairs? Ours does but I can’t see it in the pic here?

Avatar

yes it does. The straps are on both sides to attach to chairs x

My baby used it every day for 6 months and LOVED it. It also helped him develop his pincer grip early

We love it. I wanted something like this because it’s so portable. Started using it at 6 months and would have him practice sitting up and playing with it on the floor and now is permanently strapped to a chair for meal times. I didn’t want a high chair taking up extra space so this works well for us. Still using it at 17 months but we now have a toddler tower and he likes to graze at the kitchen counter a lot of the time.

My health visitor told me this chair was fine to use to introduce weaning however after the first few weeks to get a high chair

We used this to introduce my daughter to food and she loved it.

She’ll be 2 in May and still likes to sit in there for her snacks sometimes (even tho she has her own table and chair🤣🤣) xx

We have one and they're brilliant. My advice would be to look on FB marketplace for one second hand

Love it !!!! Best thing we ever got !!!

Yeah they’re great, we used it as a travelling high chair because our girl was petite and the high chairs in restaurants are mostly terrible!
I would also put her in it in the bathroom with me whilst I had a shower

We have this - have used it since about 5 months (he's 8 months now). He loves sitting and playing in it and we have used it for weaning alongside a high chair. I tend to use this for breakfast or snacks - we also have taken it on holiday and to my parents as a little portable place to eat! So worth it imo! X

My LG is 2.5 and we still use it but strapped to a chair like a high chair. Works great for us as takes up less space.

Avatar

What age did Everyone start using this chair from? My LG is only 4.5 months can I start using it for her to get used to it? X

Avatar

Probably about 5/6 months, it has straps though so as long as she can sit well enough on her own she will be fine 🙂

Avatar

Once they can sit up independently because it doesn’t have a head rest. We used it from 5 months for short periods.

Not drinking

I’m going crazy. Baby born at 2.26kg. Slow to put on weight. This last week hasn’t put on any. Been trying to feed him at night and he’s not interested at all. Fast asleep. During day he will have 5 minute gulps and that’s it. He don’t cry for milk. I’ve got to keep offering to him. I try to offer it every hour but I don’t know what I’m doing. HV said nutrition comes after 5 minutes so I should pump first and then give him. I find it so hard. I tried to pump one boob nothing came. The other abit came. Tried giving him express he’s not interested in that too. Sometimes he will go for a longer a feed but not long at all. He’s 4 months and is currently 5.46kg. I have no family or friend support here and wish I had a cook, cleaner and nanny to help with everything so I can concentrate on the little one. I don’t know what’s wrong with him but I’m loosing it. It doesn’t help that my also stressed generally about my relationship and life circumstances. Any advice that will work. Any comfort you can give. I’m fed up. Is this regression - not feeding. He’s fast fast asleep. I’ve been trying to push the nipple in but that mouth is closed shut. I took some clothes off. Changed his nappy but he’s still asleep. Please help

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
