C-section vs VBAC
Anyone willing to share their experience for their next birth after an emergency c section? Due with my second in a few weeks and debating whether to try for a VBAC or schedule a repeat c-section. Laboured for 13 hours with my first and ended in emergency c section, recovery was so tough. I’ve heard planned is a bit easier.

I laboured for 24h with my 1st. Ended up in a c-section. For my 2nd, I just opted for a c-section. To hopefully not have to be in the OR alone again and with no support.
I had a 42 hr labour with my first. It ended in c section for failure to progress. She was 9lb4oz, and she was also sideways and wouldn’t turn. With my second it was 16hrs, I progressed slowly again but I did progress! I ended up pushing her out in 20 minutes and she was 9lbs 8oz! I got to feel her head as she came out and I will never forget it. I healed so much easier for my vbac I couldn’t believe how amazing and strong I felt afterwards! It was a whole different experience
