Nuchal translucency

Did nuchal translucency and baby is at 4.40mm . They say i have 1:24 chances down syndrome 😞 did NIPT test too and have to wait 2w for results. Is there anyone who had a high measurement but nipt came back normal?

My friend, who is due in June, had a NT of 3.6mm and some tricuspid regurgitation - high screening results (1:2 for Downs) and NIPT then showed low risk, scan showed fluid sacs on neck (Turners) so she did amniocentesis and baby came back clear for anything and at 20 week scan appears normal and everything has rectified

With my first daughter the 12 week scan showed a nuchal translucency of 5.2 mm. The blood test came back as high chances for downsyndrome. What they at first didn't explain to me was that the blood test was absolutely fine, but they enter all metrics (measurements, age, blood results) in the computer and it just gives them this chance. The chance was just higher because of the measurements.. had nipt done and some extra scans and she's absolutely fine

Hi Thanh, we were told that our baby could have down syndrome as well but after the NIPT test it was a low chance. Still after the 2nd ultrasound , it was said on the paper that at 32 weeks to do another test. It can be stressful.

Small head reported following 20 week scan

Has anyone else had it flagged that their baby is in the bottom 5th percentile for head size?

They said everything was fine whilst we were in the scan and then I got a phone call the next day saying that it’s on the small side and we’re being referred to a paediatric specialist at St George’s. Has anyone else had this and how did things go??

Would you bring 9 week old to a family party of 35+ people?

These are also people who will want to pass the baby around and get a turn to hold him. He just got his 2 month shots two days ago

Exercise 6 weeks after c section

What movement did people start to introduce? I won’t do anything too vigorous until I’ve seen the pelvic physio as I don’t want to compromise anything that may have been extremely weakened through pregnancy! But just wondering what types of classes/movement people started off with?

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient πŸ˜‚πŸ₯²
