Anyone slept on the sofa with loads of pillows? I wanna do it as the side sleeping isn’t working as my hips kill and I’m not sleeping!!

Not on the sofa, but I have been sleeping in bed, propped up on loads of pillows (which my midwife said was safe to do), and it definitely helps with hip pain! I do find however that it makes me a bit achey in the morning, but the hip pain wakes me up in the night, so I’ll take the achey back over that 😂 x
I love sleeping on my couch while pregnant prefer it to my bed I try and sleep in my bed and I just can't get comfy I'm only in a 1 bedroom flat with my bf and his stepson so his son has the room we have the living room looking into getting a sofa bed until we can move
I’ve had several sleeps on sofas during the second trimester without any pillows, i’m not sure on the rules around it but i found occasional sofa sleeps were perfect for me. i am not good with the whole side sleeping thing in a bed as end up on my front but on the sofa side sleeping feels much more natural.
Meee, I was sleeping in bed before and everything used to hurt. I tried sleeping on the sofa with the pillow leaning over the arm rest so my body is not flat but elevated. I still have my pillows between my legs and around me to support the front and back, it was the first time in months I’ve been able to sleep there night and feel like a normal person again, definitely recommend. I think the trick is for the bed to not be flat or for the legs to not be slightly higher. I for late pregnancy is best to have more support on the back and for it to be slighter higher than the rest of the body.
