About 30% of inductions turn into a C-section. So those hurt double bad.

Definitely an Induction in my opinion. Especially when given pitocin and or the Ballon catheter.

I got induced and ended with an emergency C-section due to preeclampsia. My induction was a breeze and honestly the surgery wasn't horrible either.

Induction. Normally turns into a C-section.

Csection

Completely different pain. I was induced 3 weeks early and ended in an emergency c section. You can’t compare the ‘pain’ and everyone’s recovery, experience and idea of pain is so different. I always say I’d try to avoid major surgery where possible as risk of infections, clots ect is higher with that and generally has a longer recovery. I was able to be up walking and showering myself 12 hours later so was mobile very quick which helps but the wound got infected at 2 weeks and took a long time to heal. There are different pain relief/epidural options when in labour to help. X

Induction and recovery process was much harder for me then c section , heard the same from someone else

I was induced ended up in an emergency c section due to my sons heart rate dropping to low

Induction was easy for me. My failed and I had an emergency c section. C section recovery wasn't fun for me.

My first was an induction and hated everything about it. Pretty sure I had ptsd. Was terrified for my second induction. Laboured for ages then it turned into an emergency c- section. Wish I’d just gone straight to the c-section each time. I felt fine within the week and had to make a conscious effort to take things easy so I didn’t cause damage. The hardest part was not being allowed to drive for 6 weeks as my husband doesn’t drive.

I had an induction that lead to c-section and the induction was more painful for me

I was in about something similar with my husband a few days ago. I had a failed induction vbac and ended up having a C-section with my second baby, and I will never forget the pain! The contractions started but the machine wasn’t picking them up and when I asked for epidural the pain that went through my body when she was trying to do it was unreal! Yet the epidural they give you for C-section I barely felt and I’ve had two. I’ve opted for C-section for my third

Neither are fun and probs both have different pains so dont think you can compare the two

Induction. My c section was a walk in the park compared to my induction. 12 weeks pp with my c section and I forget I even had one

@Tiffany yea, contractions in induction is like a hell 😳
