Gestational Diabetes Test - Reschedule?

So I'm booked in for the glucose test this Wednesday morning but I'm currently laid up in bed with a stomach bug or something. I've been sick literally in the last 20 minutes and was wondering if I wait and see how I am doing tomorrow or should I contact the hospital and reschedule my glucose test for when I'm much better and recovered? Not sure how much it could affect it being sick etc

I’d call your hospital and see what they advise x

I would reschedule.

I’m pretty sure if you vomit during the test, it gets stopped and you have to retake! As I have hyperemesis so doing the finger prick version instead.

I’d maybe call and see what they say :)

I would wait until you are feeling better personally. But I would call and see what the wait is like if you were to reschedule too. Taking it while feeling poorly will be grim enough and if you are sick you will have to redo it again anyway

Reschedule to avoid anything inconclusive or anything that could mean you’ll need to retake x

Thanks everyone, I'll ring the hospital tomorrow and reschedule 😊

Young mum

Hi guys,

I’m just wondering if there’s any other young parents that are getting further into their pregnancy and like, genuinely just clocking that I’m gonna be responsible for a baby and I don’t know everything their is to know about baby’s I feel like I’m gonna be so useless and accidently be the worst mum in the world 🫣

Does anyone else feel like this? Or felt like this? I’m 19 and genuinely have so much anxiety about this now I’m 20 weeks lol

So annoyed, dog jumped on me :( now I’m anxious

I have a big dog and she NEVER jumps.. today I came home and my mum was with me visiting and my dog must have just got over whelmed and she jumped and ended up scratching my lower back,

with that I’ve bent backwards almost and stretched my lower belly and it didn’t hurt as such just felt like tha shock ligament pain but ofc I haven’t actually bent that far since being pregnant and now I just feel anxious really and just need some reassurance. It only happened about 15 mins ago and I have felt baby a little since

But why is there always something to worry about!😭
