Poop pic - like coffee grounds?

Waiting for the doctor to call back but I'm super anxious so looking for any idea in the meantime.

LO has had a stomach bug since Thursday so on day 5 now. His nappies have gone from being yellow diarrhoea, to watery diarrhoea and now like this, which to me looks like coffee grounds. Which I know can be concerning.

My partner is saying it must be something he's eaten but he's hardly eaten anything! And nothing that I would think would look like this. He's never had a happy look like this before.

Thoughts?

Does he have allergies/ food intolerance or parasites? My LO has loads of stools like this when he’s having something that he is allergic or intolerant to .
Like when we need to reintroduce one of the foods he use to react to , after one day or two he will have a stool just like this one xx

he does have allergies but hasn't come into contact with any of the foods he's allergic to.

When he has been exposed in the past we've still never had a nappy like this.

Couldn't say on parasites.

We've been admitted to hospital so hopefully get some answers soon xx

We have had a stomach bug since Thursday too, with 4 episodes of projectile vomiting and runny nappies. Today’s nappies have been like chicken korma sauce.

Have they said what they think your little one is suffering with?

ah his were like korma before they turned like this and now they’ve gone back to korma (which I don’t think I can ever eat again 😅). They’ve said it’s likely a bad case of gastroenteritis but have taken a poo sample in case it’s campylobacter

Oh gosh. I’m going to ring the docs this morning as it’s just crazy now. The boy will only eat toast as well. Anything else he screams at 🫠

the main reason we were admitted was because he hadn't had a pee all day so were concerned about dehydration. Yeah we're pretty much on toast and crackers!

We got our stool sample kit today.

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Combi feeding advice

Has anyone gone from EBF to combi feeding? Currently do one bottle of EBM per night and they one half formula half breast milk mixed in the day. The other times she still feeds on me. Ideally I want to feed all day via bottle and all night with breast. She’s 7 weeks and takes a bottle well, how long should I leave it before adding another bottle to her daily routine?
