Induction

Hi mums,

Baby no.3 due in June and I’ll be induced.

Has anyone else had an induction booked in, if so at what gestation were you? Did you have any say when baby was being induced?

Thank you

I’ve been induced via balloon with all 3 of mine, the first 2 came on their due dates I was induced 39+5. But my 3rd I was induced at 39 weeks. You usually get to choose from a few dates they give you, or atleast I did. But I suppose it all depends on why you’re being induced as to when they’ll do it

With my second I was high risk, they wanted to induce me between 38 and 39 weeks but with how my first pregnancy ended I wanted to be induced as early as I possibly could, ended up meeting half way on the middle 😂🙈 but my anxiety got the better of me and I ended up being induced at 36 + 5 (ended up having an emergency section as she was breech) I’m currently pregnant again and will be having a c section at around 39 weeks xx

My induction was booked in for at 39 weeks because my little boy was very small. I went for my normal scan towards end of 35 weeks (coming to 36) they told me baby stopped growing and I needed to be induced on the day! I said absolutely not as I had just left midway through work. Thru reluctantly agreed but I just needed an extra day to get things sorted.

Ended up having him at 36+1 via normal delivery. Pessary failed so I had the oxytocin drip. Took him three days to come out 😆

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

2nd pregnancy after c section

I’m not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon but in the future possibly. I just wanted to know how is pregnancy after c section like my fear is having to go through another emergency operation or even putting strain on my incision during pregnancy

Baby Movements

Hello, I’m a FTM currently 18W5D pregnant. I’ve been getting this tugging feeling in my stomach after I eat, it’s uncomfortable but not painful. I don’t know whether that’s the baby moving or round ligaments pain.

I’ve also been getting round ligament pain which is either a sharp stabbing pain or a stretching sensation. These happens whether or not I’ve eaten while the tugging feeling is only after I’ve eaten.

So, could the tugging feeling be the baby or something else.
