Induction

So I’ve heard you can get induced at 39 weeks if your low risk. I know it sounds bad but I’m so uncomfortable I’m currently 37 weeks and honestly I’m so over being pregnant. It’s getting unbearable and I’m getting so frustrated. I know it sounds bad and I feel awful asking but has anyone elts got induced asap due to the same reason. I just wanted to know your experience?

I can relate and was honestly considering a sweep 😭 but everyones telling me to wait it out until my dua date atleast, and I've made it to 39+4 so far. I'm just trying not to think so far ahead and take each day at a time instead of focusing on how much time I potentially have left 😭 which I know is easier said than done, trust meee I definitely get it

I was induced at 38+6 and had her at exactly 39 weeks due to SPD, I had to literally beg for it though I was so uncomfortable and in pain x

I was induced at 38+2 for different reasons BUT I very much wanted it for the same reasons as you!
Induction started with pessary at 6am on Jan 1st, I was already 1cm dilated. 2pm checked cervix and I was 4-5cm, did a sweep. Went down to delivery, had waters broken at 7pm, gave birth at 04:38am on 2nd Jan.
inductions can however take a few days so be prepared for that x

I went to 41+2🥲🫠 was due to be induced 2 days after he actually arrived and I get it, being fed up and frustrated all you want is that baby out… all I’m gonna say is I’m glad I wasn’t induced… I hear a lot of horror stories about being induced as it’s not “natural” and a lot of people end up having an emergency C-section/ have other complications!
I know it’s frustrating but hang in there I know you don’t want to hear it but baby will come when they’re ready and much easier if it’s natural!! X

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
