@Lexi I mean right now though at 36 weeks. I’m feeling really loose which seemed weird to me.
kegels help with this!! <3
@Ayleen what caused it to become loose over the last month though? Like it felt normal the last time we had sex. ☹️ I’m just feeling really insecure about it now.
ohh i just read your reply above too! if you’re close to giving birth its just your body preparing for birth- i’m about 36 weeks too and its the same for me i promise it’s nothing to be insecure about - if anything you might not tear as much or not at all when it comes time for baby! after you give birth though kegels help tremendously with that like “loose” feeling 🤍
@Ayleen okay thanks! Yeah hopefully it’s a good thing and it makes things go smoother. It just freaked me out since me and my husband both noticed a difference.
You could be dilating a bit? Maybe 1cm dilated instead of 0 which is your baseline…. But being 1cm or 2cm dilated is completely normal at this time!
Also has no indication of when labor is coming, some people go into labor at 1cm dilated and some people hang out at 3cm dilated with absolutely no progresss for weeks
Sorry read it wrong. Yes its completely normal to feel this way before birth. I felt the same way and its the body preparing itself.
Your whole vagina changes leading up to birth! Between blood flow, your pelvis shifting slightly, and some hormone that your body sends down there to soften everything up before birth so you don’t rip in half, it’s like a whole new vagina! Second trimester vagina is my favorite. Third trimester? Not so much. Sex is less than enjoyable for me for the last 6 weeks. Everything you’re experiencing is COMPLETELY normal. And it will snap right back.🥰🥰
Thanks ladies! I just hadn’t seen anything about it and felt kind of silly but it was freaking me out 😂 so very thankful to know it’s normal and my body is doing what it’s supposed to do!
For my experience I was in pain. It all depends on the doctor. They usually sew you back up and feel like a full on virgin again.
