Really worried

I’m 5 months pp and have had relatively normal periods until this month. I’m on day two and I’m going through a tampon an hour. I’ve bought the orange ones which I’ve never in my life needed, which has lasted me 2/3 hours until it’s desperately needed changing and there were clots! I’m at home by myself with two kids and I’m so worried. Posting here for traffic, sorry!

The orange ones? Are they utra absorbency? If so that sounds like a hospital trip is necessary. You shouldn't be going through a pad or tampon every hour.

They are! The orange one lasted me 2/3 hours. I think I knew a hospital trip would be necessary but I’m in alone with my kids. I’ve got some of the iron tablets the hospital give me when I had my baby 5 months ago and I’ve eaten something I’m just trying to not get lightheaded or dizzy at this point, my husbands a 4 hour drive away and hasn’t seen me trying to get hold of him.

How big are the clots? How many hours have you been bleeding this heavily?

yesterday seemed totally normal. But I woke to do the night feed at 4am and needed to change my tampon, which I’ve never in my life needed to change during the night, then pretty much every hour today I’ve needed to change until I bought the orange ones, and then it’s been 2/3 hours. The clots are only small, if I wasn’t bleeding so heavily I wouldn’t be worried if I seen the clots on a normal flow it’s just the combination and more so that I’m worried if I pass out there’s no one here for the kids.

Scan needed at 33 weeks

Hi ladies! I just had a midwife appointment (I am 33+5)..the midwife was different to my usual midwife. She's requested I have a scan within 72 hours as she said baby is measuring a little small, however, she did say that it's likely nothing to worry about and it's probably just her measuring me a bit different to my usual midwife. Has anyone else had this? Am a bit worried although babys heartbeat and movements are completely fine.

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

normal or infected?

5 weeks post c section , i went at the beginning of the week as my wound had opened completely different area to what’s leaking. was told it didn’t look infected. anyone know if this is normal coming off it, it’s only a little amount at a time

Rolling milestone at 5 months - What’s typical ?

Good morning ladies,

My daughter will be 5 months old tomorrow, but there’s still no sign of her rolling. She does tummy time and loves lying on her mat, playing with hanging toys above her and to the sides, but she only lifts her legs and doesn’t seem interested in rolling or moving sideways yet.

Anyone else the same or have your babies already learnt how to roll yet ?
