Bumbo seats

Has anyone started using bumbo seats or similar?

My LO is 4 months tomorrow and has quite good head control, we have one of the inflatable seat things (in pic) but he isn’t very supported in it so wondered if bumbo style might be better?

I've been shopping around for something like this, I personally hate the bumbo I find it so stiff and it doesn't support their back at all which they need until they're atleast 1 year old so I'm unsure what to try as well

ah ok so maybe not a great choice then. This one is really cute but he just slips down at the moment in it so maybe a high chair of some description might be better x

I'm thinking of ordering his high chair this week, at the moment he sits in his pram or on the sofa with me but can't really give him toys and stuff like that 🤦🏻‍♀️

yeah I think I might get him a highchair. He’s got a bouncer thing that we put on the kitchen table at the moment (it is very sturdy) so he’s up high so I think he’d probably like it and then with a little tray etc too!

Yeah that's exactly why I use the pram! He doesn't wanna be on the floor he wants to see what I'm doing and be included, definitely a better shout I think!

I got this, it's 3-in-1 so can be used on the floor with the feet out or attached to a chair when they're bigger as a booster seat. Will still get a proper high chair eventually but thought this is good in the meantime and can move it round the house easily x

Normally on offer on amazon for cheaper btw!

No, but was thinking about it. I thought to wait until 6 months as that's what I've seen on the box

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂

No more naps! 10 month old

For a few days now my 10m old has fought her 2 daily naps. Normally her wake windows were 3-4 hours and she is now eventually napping after a 6 hour wake window. Today was only one nap, she skipped the second one. Used to nap like clockwork so I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Also very unsettled most nights and doesn’t sleep well at all
