C section

Mines next week as well and I feel like I’m now just sat in limbo!

how many weeks are you?

I’m 37+5 today, having my section at 39 weeks due to health issues

Oh okay. Yeah I only asked because I have spoken to my consultant about being induced at 37 but the more i think about it i wanted to opt for a c section but do they only offer that at 39 weeks?

they tend to only do them before 39 weeks if there’s a particularly health reason. My health issue doesn’t affect baby, it’s more to do with needing to schedule coming off medication so that’s why mine is at that gestation

All I’d say is get on top of your washing before cause that’s last thing you’ll care about when you’re trying to get around with a new born and in pain! (On count down to my 2nd section)

Yeah i have PGP and currently on crutches and don’t feel my body is gonna make carrying her to 40 weeks without completely debilitating me x

@Jess my mum said this to me to keep on top of it. Eeekk I know me too second one I'm so nervous x

PGP is awful, I’ve managed to avoid crutches but only because I got signed off work in December due to everything going on with my health. Was your consultant receptive to being induced early? Might be worth mentioning c-section and seeing what they say
