We’re going on our 1st family holiday with our LG in a couple of weeks and I need all the recommendations I can get in terms of what to take, what not to take and if you have any “mum hacks” that would help when we’re away?
My LG will be 19 weeks when we go and we’re going to Spain so only a short flight.
I feel there is so much to think about so hoping I can get some advice here 🫶🏽

I’m in the same boat! Going away in June and he will be 7 months. Following xx
ohhh lovely, I’m sure we’ll get some recommendations here 🤞🏽 I feel like my head is about to explode thinking about it all 🤣

We are going to Greece at start of may. Lg will be 5 months. So following also.

Same here! I’m constantly googling what to pack, what airlines allow etc! Ugh I’ll need a holiday after this holiday!! We are off to Spain too btw!

Baby bottle and a cold gel pack for the flight, toys to entertain, nappy bag on flight with your pack plenty of nappies, sun cream(test on your baby before you go just in case of allergy etc) pay for extra luggage for formula, nappies, swim nappies, full coverage suit. Try and time babies naps with flights. Highly recommend toys thay can be attached to baby for flights, car journeys, and water friendly toys are a must.

Breast / bottle or dummy during take off and landing as it helps with the pressure . We took our girl last month to Dubai which was about 6/7 hours flight and she slept the whole way 😂 make sure you pack some calpol for the flight just in case . Can’t say much about swimming or anything like that as we just kept her in the shade the whole time and the pool was cold , I mean it was okay for adults and children but not for babies but you can get nappies and stuff like that on holidays . And make sure no Aircon is on in the room at all times x

I bought one of these for the plane and used it the entire time on holiday - easily flung in the base of the stroller & for nappy changing on the plane. We were lucky to have a spare seat on the plane so she lay on the mat on the spare seat and loved it. It also made it easy to do an emergency change after landing!
A snooze shade was invaluable too to keep baby out the sun!
