I’m 4 months in to exclusively breast feeding and I’ve just noticed I’m starting to spot, it’s not turned into an actual period yet and I’m hoping it doesn’t. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this? Does it usually stop?

Hi, this just happened to me. I’m 3 months and i started mine, well I thought I was like it had been previously but it was light spotting for a few days and stopped. My doctor said it is normal because I am breastfeeding and is nothing to be worried about.

I started 6 weeks postpartum while exclusively breastfeeding and I've been regular ever since. Everyone is different. I've heard someone women who get early periods who just get them sporadically and others, like me, who are regular.

I had mine 4 months post partum and have been regular ever since. Was exclusively brest feeding and still breast feeding and my baby is now 16 months old.
My period has become more regular then before I got pregnant.
It is completely normal as every woman is different. In fact I've been told that it is a positive thing, as it means that your hormones are coming back to their normal state quicker.
Enjoy each stage of this amazing experience 😊

I had periods more heavy than they were before when I was breastfeeding

4 months pp for me exclusively breastfeeding. I was upset! Still regular

Yeah I think I was around 4mo PP when mine came back while BF.
