My 10 week old is going through the night the last 3 nights without nursing. When he nurses in the morning obviously there’s a lot of foremilk there and he’s bringing ALOT back up when burping. Should I be pumping through the night to get rid of some of that foremilk so he’s getting the hindmilk? I feel like this is what’s making him sick could be wrong.. any advice appreciated thanks x

My health visitor and midwife has said there is not a massive amount of difference in milk type a bit ratio of water to fat but not massively just that if you empty more hind milk you make more milk and up supply
Odds are they are probs hungry from not eating all night gorging on milk in general and going over the volume they have space for
With out little one I found after longer gaps if we paced the feed more breaks half time burping his brain caught up with his belly on how fully he was he’s didn’t stuff him self as ice and as a result sucked up less probably leading to more milk staying in the baby

Thank you so much. I’ll definitely try this x
