How soon did you go swimming after having a c section? My little boy has swimming lessons every Saturday and I can’t wait to be able to do them again with him

I think I went in a hot tub at 5 weeks but waited till about 7 or 8 weeks for a swimming pool - I healed very well very quickly though to be fair
Few days after 6 weeks. Most stitches r dissolvable n if u go sooner then 6 weeks u risk dissolving them n opening up ur wound before it's had to time to heal shut x
We started swimming lessons at 4 months old

6 weeks minimum to ensure the placental wound has healed. An infection from gross pool water is the last thing you want!
