Sleep regression

Hey ladies! For those going through the 4 month sleep regression, what is exactly happening with your baby? Mine is starting to wake up earlier and earlier. She used to wake up at 7:30, then 7, then 6:30 and today at 6am. Hoping she goes back to her normal soon!

For me it’s been shorter naps during the day 30-45 min max. He wakes up every 3-4 hours at night when he used to sleep 8-10 hrs. Harder to put down, wakes as soon as I set him in the crib. Also hoping it passes quickly!

Same for me. My baby used to wake up between 7:00/7:30, now waking up earlier, about 6ish. Still going to bed around the same time so I wonder if I should move the bedtime up earlier.
Naps are also terrible right now, fights them so much and will only sleep 30-40 mins. If she sleeps on me I can get it a little longer. Also hoping this will pass, I’m exhausted.

Ok it’s good to know I’m not the only one! I’m praying it passes for all of us

Same here! Early morning and frequent wake up at night. She used to sleep 7-8h then another short sleep right after but now she wakes up every 3-5 hour and feeding twice at night vs it used to be just once.

She has started taking longer naps but only takes 2 or 3 naps per day. Usually, morning one is like 2h then another 1.5h in the afternoon. If she wakes up earlier, she takes 3 naps but she fights against the third one 😅

Glad it’s not just me, my little guys naps have shortened and will only get a nap longer than 45 min if it’s a contact nap. He was sleeping through the night but is now waking up consistently at 4:45 each morning and harder to get back to bed.

I believe we just had the sleep regression (it was short and not too bad so I’m not sure). My boy would cry hysterically before naps. His naps were shorter and he’d wake easily, just the smallest movement and he was awake. He also was fussy when nursing and woke up more frequently at night. Before, I nursed him once at night, during the regression up to 4 times during the night.

These last two days were much better and he slept 6.5 hours straight last night so I’m hoping we’re already through it after a week. Cross your fingers for me, that it really was the regression. I definitely noticed a change in the way he sleeps.

I'm glad we are not the only ones, her wake windows are longer and she wants to start her day earlier than usual.

Wow seriously I guess we’re all going through the same thing with the early wake ups

Very similar situation here along with 2-3 wakes/feedings,
30 min naps unless she is moving (car, walks) or sleeping on me. It was so gradual I am just realizing it might be the regression. She just turned 4 months.

Bathing every night and sticking to a bedtime routine has helped some for me! We start getting in the mood for bed about an hour before, bathe, moisturize, book, and she knocks out for 2.5-4hours at a time at night until 7 or 8

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂

No more naps! 10 month old

For a few days now my 10m old has fought her 2 daily naps. Normally her wake windows were 3-4 hours and she is now eventually napping after a 6 hour wake window. Today was only one nap, she skipped the second one. Used to nap like clockwork so I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Also very unsettled most nights and doesn’t sleep well at all
