8 weeks 5 days thoughts

Really struggling these last few days and ever since last night into today I keeeeep crying. I’m feeling anger, sadness, and guilt for almost wishing I wasn’t pregnant. I’m extremely grateful but having a husband who’s not being as supportive during these crucial weeks even though I’ve expressed what I need to feel loved and cared for over and over again even before pregnancy it’s just hitting me so hard lately and the loneliness is going to kill me. I use to be on Zoloft (depression medication) for 2 years but stopped in 2023 wondering if my depression is just going to get really bad throughout pregnancy, not sure what to do or if these thoughts and feelings are normal?

Pretty normal. Maybe figure something out with your husband though! When me and my fiancé got pregnant it was not an ideal time and there was these unreal weird emotions i would never wish upon someone. and we had a lot of relationship conflict for first few months and yeah i felt the same like i didn’t wanna be pregnant. By ur third trimester it lightens up though. I know that’s a long way but just remember you’re literally in shock because your life is gunna change, ur husband, telling people it is exhausting! but everyone settles and energy evens out so just give it time and know it’s norma

So happy you were able to get through those tough times. Being in them is the worst I never imagined I’d feel these emotions. Thank you for writing back appreciate it a lot and don’t feel as crazy.

Hormones are super tough during pregnancy. And in your first trimester you are usually absolutely exhausted the whole time. You need SO much sleep. Sleep 12 hours a night if you can. Growing a baby is hard work!

Please talk to your doctor, you might be able to take Zoloft in pregnancy.

I'd say it's normal as being pregnant is an emotional rollercoaster due to all the changes that are happening within your body (hormonal and physical etc). Please don't be too harsh on yourself and give yourself some time to digest all this as it's big news and could shock you at first.
I had emotionally very tough first trimester as finding out that I'm pregnant came as a massive surprise, especially as I'd only been together with my bf for a few months by that time. I felt all these emotions plus I was terrified as it will obviously change everything. And although my bf was supportive, I felt that he never really understood what I was actually going through. It got better when at around 9 weeks pregnant I had a short solo-trip to Tenerife to just enjoy the sun and give myself some time to digest all this and realise that being pregnant and having a kid doesn't mean that my life is now over, and that I'll still be me (tbf I think I had a lowkey identify crisis).

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂

No more naps! 10 month old

For a few days now my 10m old has fought her 2 daily naps. Normally her wake windows were 3-4 hours and she is now eventually napping after a 6 hour wake window. Today was only one nap, she skipped the second one. Used to nap like clockwork so I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Also very unsettled most nights and doesn’t sleep well at all
