My little one is seeming to stay awake a little longer when i put her down for bedtime at 9. Her nap is usually 12-2& thats cause i have to wake her up. If i skip her nap i know she will be grumpy, should i just shorten her nap?
It just sucks because i get home from work at 12:30 so thats my little bit of time to myself before she wakes up. She also wakes up still in the middle of the night, but when i skipped her nap this past friday she slept all night.

Sorry I didn’t even realize what group this was in so okay ours are the same age mine naps for 2-3 hours so wake up is around 6:30-7:30 nap from about 11:30-2:30 give our take some days but in the same range and be time 7pm i wouldn’t shorten. I would just adjust the overall schedule maybe?

Mine naps for 2 -3 hours. Up at 8, nap between 1 and 2, and bedtime 9-10.
I would let her sleep til she wakes up! Especially if you're waking her up in a rem cycle, it might be doing more harm than good.

I wouldn’t skip the nap, they need it still at their age. I would let her sleep as long as she needs during nap time. So a bedtime routine and when she wakes up at night, soothe her right back to sleep until she learns to no longer wake up at night.
My son is 20months old and he finally stopped waking up once a night this past week!! So you’re not alone.

To each their own🤷♀️ my son will at times skip his nap altogether up from 6:30/7 am and bedtime starts at 8 pm. When we do nap I'll lay him down anywhere between 12:30pm - 2pm but up by 3:30 pm at latest.
