had 5 first pregnancy. this time around i just scheduled my 5th one. idk if im going to have another after. doc hasn’t said anything

I had 3. One at like 15 weeks, one with my amniocentesis at 20 weeks, and another at 32 weeks.

I’ve only had two so far. I’m wondering should I switch my OB .I feel it’s not nearly enough she said my next one wouldn’t be until I’m 35 weeks

2 is standard, one 1st trimester one 2nd trimester. Some doctors prefer one per trimester, but if your office has an ultrasound tech or equipment you may have more depending on their preference.

If you’re totally healthy with no risks/complications, 2 or 3 is normal!

With my first just 2, one to confirm pregnancy and one for gender/anatomy scan. With my twins i completely lost count lol

I think 3 is normal. My OB office only includes 3 in their prenatal care plan. I did have 5 with my first baby though just because she was breeched. It seems most common to have one at 6-10 weeks for confirmation, 16-20 weeks for anatomy scan, and a final one at 36 weeks to check on baby’s position.

I’m only having one - just the anatomy scan at 20 weeks.

I have had about 6-7. My clinic offers them at each appointment, they are included now in my third trimester they want to check every two weeks. It is optional though. As I am older it’s helpful to check everything is ok

My previous pregnancies I had so many done this one we moved to another state and I’ve only had one here and one before we moved for confirmation we will be having another one but just because my girls will be close in age they want to make sure she’s growing okay if not I don’t think I would have another one here

Depends. Some people only have 2. With my first I had a ton because of issues he was having and I was admitted to the hospital at 30 weeks. When I was admitted they did two a DAY. With this one, I've had probably about 4-5 already. 6th is in a week. Just because I'm bugging them to do them to make sure everything is ok since my first was a rollercoaster
