Tips on Sleeping Through The Night

Hello! FTM here! Does anyone have any tips on getting your baby/toddler to sleep through the night? I know it's normal for babies/toddlers to wake up, but my son (18 months) is waking up several times a night, and it's really hard to get him back down. I'm torn between letting him cry it out and providing comfort... any tips please and thank you šŸ™

Definitely provide comfort if its a distressed cry, sometimes if its a fuss I'll just let her fuss and know im there (she's still beside our bed cause of convenience for us), if you do go to him, keep lights low, have red light if possible, at this age I've noticed if my daughter wakes its cause she's hungry or uncomfortable. I do my best to wear her out throughout the day, feed her as much as possible lol if there's no dad or no dad in the evening then you kinda have to take over the roll and rough house with them it helps them sleep so much better! I have a blessing of a 18 month old so I hope this might help....

There is a massive sleep regression at 18 months. Could be that.

What's the routine? Waking often usually means it's time for a change.

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate itšŸ˜¢šŸ’—

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon šŸ˜‚

No more naps! 10 month old

For a few days now my 10m old has fought her 2 daily naps. Normally her wake windows were 3-4 hours and she is now eventually napping after a 6 hour wake window. Today was only one nap, she skipped the second one. Used to nap like clockwork so I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Also very unsettled most nights and doesn’t sleep well at all
