head bobbing 11 month old

morning moms, just wondering if anyone else’s baby does the same thing as I’m starting to get quite worried and drs aren’t much help.

My soon to be 11 month old has always done strange movements with his head and I have been to the drs with him about this back when he was 6 and 7 months old and both times got told it’s likely developmental and not to worry as he’s very forward with milestones. However he’s now doing a more aggressive head bob imagine a sneeze motion without the sneeze or a big ‘yes nod’ He’ll do one big one and then a few little ones and also puts his ear to shoulder (what’s he’s always done) I can’t ever catch these on video as they don’t last long and come on randomly.

Google worries me so I’m trying to stay away but I also don’t want to be naive if my baby needs help.

It seems to happen when my baby is teething really badly so I’m trying to figure out if it’s related and that could be a symptom, maybe ear ache?

Mine does this, I noticed her doing it a lot at her baby class the other day. I think she gets quite shy, she often looks at people and looks away and smiles. But it might be teething too. She had about four plus teeth come through the top at once 😅

my son does the same, acts all cute and shy when In reality he’s a terror 🤣 I’m thinking teething aswell, noticed my boys canine and molar coming through 😭

I think she partly does it to hide but she also loves the attention 😂 I just noticed it was more exaggerated in the class. But she definitely been teething and just had some kind of virus too I think. Her first tooth didn’t come through until 8 months and now they all seem to be popping through 😅

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

Combi feeding advice

Has anyone gone from EBF to combi feeding? Currently do one bottle of EBM per night and they one half formula half breast milk mixed in the day. The other times she still feeds on me. Ideally I want to feed all day via bottle and all night with breast. She’s 7 weeks and takes a bottle well, how long should I leave it before adding another bottle to her daily routine?
