Hospital bag list

Hi ladies, I wondered if anyone has a basic list for what to pack in the hospital bag, typically for baby as clothing size I'm unsure of & really don't want to over pack or take items that I really don't end up using.
I've looked on various websites/Google images & the lists all seem super overwhelming.

Thanks in advance 💖

I’ve packed clothes and toiletries for myself (2 trousers, 2 comfy tops, a pack of large underwear x5, socks, light dressing gown, a comfortable dress for my going home outfit and trousers.)

I am yet to pack baby’s things.but I am taking nappies, cotton pads, water wipes and barrier cream.

Toiletries: postpartum pads, cooling pads, breast pads, moisturiser, Spritz for bits spray, witch hazel liners to layer onto the pads.

People have recommended disposable underwear but I’ve not yet bought these

It is overwhelming but once you have a think about what you want with you, and get organised it’ll become clearer. Took me a couple months to finalise what I’m taking and who knows, maybe I’ll change my mind again. I’d rather overpack than underpack. I’m taking two bags - one mini suitcase for clothes and a separate bag for the toiletries & baby nappies.

Honestly the lists are overwhelming and I’ve just had all my things delivered and ITS SO MUCH STUFF 😭 I wanted to avoid bringing a suitcase but that isn’t happening anymore.

As for baby clothes I just was going to pack newborn and 0 month as they go up to 8/9lbs however I’m being induced at 37 weeks now as baby is measuring small so I’ve had to do a last minute premature baby clothes order and got up to 6lbs now. I will still bring a newborn but I’m going to ditch the 0 months now x

Hospital bag (UK)

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.

C section trauma ?

Is it a thing to be traumatised by a c section delivery? I’m 4 weeks pp after having an emergency c section. I won’t go into the ins and outs to what got me there 😂
Nothing went wrong in the surgery at all, it was just incredibly intense, overwhelming and scary, but luckily my baby was delivered safe!
However I’m finding my birth experience quite difficult to even think about and when I do, I feel a horrid gut wrenching feeling, my heart aches and I just uncontrollably cry! My body feels really alien to me, like it’s not my own and I just feel really let down.
