Help me decide how to tell my mom and sister I am pregnant!

I am going on a trip to NYC with my mom and sister in a few weeks. I’ll be 8 weeks pregnant on the trip (I’m getting an ultrasound two days beforehand)
I need creative ways to tell them I’m pregnant (this will be my second child)

For the first one, my husband called and told my mom the heart rate from my daughter’s first ultrasound so I was considering asking a chef to write the heart rate of this one on a dessert plate when we order dessert

I also considered paying for a billboard since it’s not very expensive but it only lasts 15 seconds every hour and I’m worried I’ll miss it🫣😂

We are going to a few shows and some nice dinners during the 4 days we will be in the city. I’m just trying to think of the most unique and fun way to announce to them🥰

I had a fun way to tell the people at my job. I made some hot crossed buns, and when people were picking them up in my office I was saying “oh I have a bun in my oven.” Only two people needed further explanation.

I like the dessert option, super cute! It’ll be like your first so they might get it as well when they see it or say it out loud. Good luck!

I like the heartbeat on the desert. We just had our third so we have been referring to my oldest as a double big brother. You could have shirts made for wandering around the city that make a play on twice a grandma

My sister did a picture of her oldest in a frame saying big brother with the due date spelled out in blocks. I would just bring a bottle of champagne, and when they open it say it can't partake and watch them piece it together in the moment. 🙂

I love the billboard idea! But yes it may be missed, wonder if there's any sort of heads up they can give you on when to expect? The message can be like "coming soon month 2025, baby (last name)

Friends wedding abroad

Hi all. I know this is FTM... But really need advice. I am currently pregnant with baby #2. Only 8 weeks. I didn't want to tell anyone yet, my partner and boss knows (needed for risk assessment reasons annoyingly). My friend is getting married in a remote part of Spain in ~3 months. I've already had a few minor complications, pain, bleeding, vanishing twin... I got preeclampsia last pregnancy and a terrible birth.
I am pretty sure I don't feel comfortable flying and then travelling out to a remote part of Spain during pregnancy. It will just be me and my toddler. I know it's overcautious but I just don't feel comfortable. I'm not even sure if I am going to be classified as high risk pregnancy or not.
How do I handle this? I need to tell her ASAP, but I didn't really want to tell anyone yet as doc told me miscarriage risk is a bit increased with vanishing twin. Any ideas?

Anxious/depressed

My first pregnancy symptom was my anxiety out of nowhere. I feel like I'm a bundle of nerves and just so scared of everything. Is anyone else feeling similar? How are you managing? Are we contributing it to hormones?

I did the sneak peek test at 15 weeks pregnant, and the results just came back girl! Has anyone ever taken the test, gotten girl, and it been wrong?
