If your LO had a dummy at night when they were younger do they still have it now?

She still wants probably needs it as new teeth coming through and she's not sleeping great. But gone cold turkey I took all the dummies away a week ago today, almost caved and gave them to her so many times but I've had enough of searching for dummy's day and night
Oh bless her, how is she now a week later without it?

My little one only has one for her one nap and bedtime x

My LG only has hers when she's falling asleep and I take it away once she's in a deep sleep. I found she actually sleeps longer this way as she was knocking it out when she was moving and it would wake her up fully when it came out
She does have it in the car though as she's started to hate car journeys

My LB has his for his daytime nap and bedtime x

How did you find settling her for bed or if she woke without a dummy? I'm tempted but think it would be so hard 😅😅

if she wakes in the night, does she resettle without a dummy?

I found stroking her face, tapping her bum and normally a Toniebox story settles her back down. On bad nights she ends up laying on the floor with me for cuddles until she's asleep then I transfer her back but she's actually slept better since removing the dummy. But the first few days were hard lots of tears but nearly 2 weeks no dummy now it's so much easier

@Devon thank you. So annoyingly I got rid at 7m and then she got poorly and I caved. Now at 16m we still have it...😂😂 Back then she didn't bat an eyelid either!! 🤦🏽♀️

no, we give it back to her to resettle and take it out when she's asleep
