Contact naps

My almost 4 month old sleeps at night in his next to me I can put him down while awake and he will fall asleep by himself… however during the day I really struggle to put him down when he naps, if I can he’ll stay asleep 5/10 mins…
How did you know your baby was ready to nap alone? And tips on how to help guide him that way?
I love my cuddles but it would be nice to have some chilled time alone 😂

There is a regression at 4 months so the nap struggles could be due to that. They also are only just working out they are separate people so want to keep you close.

My daughter is nearly 10 months old & she has 2 naps in the day & both are still contact naps, she goes down perfectly at night but wakes the minute I try in the day. It used to stress me out to try to get me time like you say but now I embrace it, especially as they will end. I use the time to actually stop, watch tv for an hour, just relax. Turning it into a positive really helped me.

My 2 year still likes contact. I am able to put him down on the sofa. But it’s very hit or miss. If he’s ill or teething then he’ll wake up. It’s really hard.

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂

No more naps! 10 month old

For a few days now my 10m old has fought her 2 daily naps. Normally her wake windows were 3-4 hours and she is now eventually napping after a 6 hour wake window. Today was only one nap, she skipped the second one. Used to nap like clockwork so I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Also very unsettled most nights and doesn’t sleep well at all
