With my first, I was breast feeding and didn't get one until 9 months after c section
I’m breastfeeding and got my first period at about 6m

A month after, which is surprising since i have always had irregular periods
Breastfeeding, I think I bled for 5 weeks immediately after. Had a five week rest until mine started appearing monthly. You can still get periods when breastfeeding annoyingly
@Savannah no it doesn't. Breastfeeding mums can get periods 🤣 hilarious

@Natalie I think she means because generally if you’re breastfeeding it takes much longer for your periods to return

@Natalie the first 6 weeks aren’t considered a period as this bleeding is linked to the birth ☺️ Breastfeeding mums tend to get their periods later but it also depends on whether you’re feeding at night (if your baby is sleeping for longer periods at night, you’re more likely to get your period back) / pumping / when you start solids etc. LAMM is a contraception method that many women use.
Just got mine I’m 14 weeks PP. it is way heavier than normal too.
Mine was 6 months while EBF.

First c section- 9 months, but I was breastfeeding This time- I’m almost 12 weeks postpartum and idk what’s going on, but I’m slightly spotting for about a week now. So idk if I’m about to start or not 😅
