Transverse Breech

Hello, I’m pregnant with my third child. The previous 2 children were both c sections. The first was an emergency c section after labor complications, the second was an unscheduled early c section due to his size and excessive amniotic fluid. For this third baby we’ve had to move up my c section date because she is transverse breech. Has anyone else experienced this and had a successful birth and recovery process afterwards? Did you need to get the second incision to your belly button? I’m getting nervous about potential outcomes and would love to hear anyone else’s experience!

hey, I haven't been in your exact situation, but I know a few moms who had similar experiences and they all said it was a bit nerve-wracking but went okay in the end, so you got this! 😊 this is what the 'Heal Baby Care App' mentioned… hope it helps! "It's completely understandable to feel nervous about your upcoming c-section, especially after two previous ones. Many women in similar situations have successfully delivered their third child via c-section, and recovery can vary based on individual circumstances. Regarding the incision, it's common for doctors to use the same incision for subsequent c-sections, but this can depend on your specific case and the surgeon's recommendation. Have you discussed your concerns and the specifics of your surgery with your healthcare provider?

Mine wasn't fully transverse, he was halfway between transverse and footling breech, but had a successful birth (although ended up cat-2 as he came early and quickly) and I didn't need a second incision.
