Disposable diapers (I loved Always Discreet) and Dermoplast were my life savers in postpartum after a natural birth. And then just healthy snacks for when you’re starving in the night.
Thank you for posting this girl I had the same questions ! This was helpful for myself
Agree with dermoplast, and nipple butter if you plan on breastfeeding!
DERMOPLAST!! Witch hazel pads to layer on top the dermoplast. Peri bottle. I love the Frida mom one. And always discrete disposable undies for those initial 2-4 weeks. Make a basket or a mini rolling cart to sit beside your toilet. And get a big trash can for the bathroom, those lil trash cans won’t cut it the first month unless you want to take out trash multiple times a day. Nipple balm, anti leak pads (disposable or reusable) for your boobs. Anti constipation pills— start taking these in the hospital itself. AND TAKE CONSISTENTLY . You may think you won’t need it but you will. And something random, those squat a potty stools for your toilet. The extra elevation really makes that first stool passing SO MUCH easier.
Just remembered, get that secret clinical strength deodorant. You will sweat, the PP body odor is no freaking joke so you’re gonna need something stronger. I’d kept extra pjs in my bedside cart for me along with my baby because the night sweats suck and I’d rather change right beside my bed instead on trekking all the way into my closet in the middle of the night.
Ice packs! Your cooch will thank you. Also a Bobby pillow to sit on. Lots of snacks and microwave meals. Lots of drinks. Dermoplast spray is essential. And lots of chapstick. All over the house because you will lose them and need to have back up
No one mentioned this yet but food prep! Easy freezer meals and snacks for quick dump and heat meals. Also you want to make sure you have a bedside water station esp if you have multiple floors or are far from your water source. Hospital will give you most of what you need outside of that btw.
your kit looks like your alreadyyy to go mama! I made padcicles w my first which was basically aloe vera and which hazel on a pad I kept them in the freezer until I came home for use, portable bidet..always disposable panties…tucks && dermoplast 💕 luckily I didn’t have any constipation but I’ve read stool softeners can be handy as well!
Can anyone please send a picture of what the Dermoplast spray looks like. Can’t seem to find that name.
@Ema I sent it love I wonder if it’s not in the uk under that name🤔 maybe try amazon too
@Joelle thank you❤️ Unfortunately, I don’t think it is as I can’t seem to find it under that name at least.
The only other thing I added and I loved was dermoplast spray. It’s for “pain, burn, itch”. I found it really soothing to spray on my lady bits after birthing
