Try Eden Roc, might be over budget but it's my fave to recommend to clients with babies
@Jess is this in Rhodes?
Yeah that's the one, food and service is incredible.
@Emma I do like the thought of a villa but also don’t know if I can be bothered with all the cleaning and food prep involved 😂 stayed in a villa last year in Cyprus for my wedding, loved it, but did not love the washing, cleaning and cooking! We also got burgled whilst asleep! So that’s put me off too💔
@Raeshan oh no! We got a central villa so still ate out (dont cook on holiday or clean!). I’d look at an apartment then or hotel with kitchen/ fridge facilities.. it definitely helps with a baby
@Emma yeah I’ve been looking at b&b options (I love hotel breakfast) with kitchenettes! Just no idea where this is the problem I’m facing haha. As a couple we’ve done Amsterdam, Tenerife x 2, Majorca, Cyprus and Thailand x 2. Super tempted to do Thailand again as it holds a special place in my heart (where we for engaged) but I can’t bare the thought of that journey again let alone with a little one😅
@Raeshan if you fancy long haul do it now before they start moving/ walking… it’s the easiest flight you’ll have! We did Mexico at 8 months and was fine. Probably be the last time you can fully be selfish but before their needs get more demanding!! 🤣 Bitacora in Tenerife is great when a bit older. Menorca is great for families too, but once they need entertaining!
@Emma yeah this is the thought process I had! We’ve considered Mexico - we were meant to go for our honeymoon but I found out I was pregnant the day after we got back from Cyprus for the wedding so we postponed it! My mum also offered to have my son if we wanted to do a honeymoon alone but I’m conflicted about that also!
@Raeshan do whatever feels right… but at that age they still nap and can’t run off so it is the easiest one you’ll get! Enjoy whatever you decide x
Turkey. Antalya. We go September each year and it’s lovely! We go to Pegasos world x
Lanzarote is good Who you lookin to book with
You need don’t to look at family hotels specifically at that age… it’s not time to listen to other people’s kids screaming just yet! We found villas really good with a baby, the extra space and kitchen facilities definitely help, particularly as you’ll be weaning by then
