Sleeping

My daughter turned 6 weeks on Saturday and for the past couple of nights she has not slept at night she will stay awake for 4 hours at a time and it’s seeming like she is only napping as she will only be asleep for 30-60 mins at a time and all she wants to do is drink milk. Anyone else’s little do this and tell me what I can do to help her sleep at night and how long it lasts.

Got one tired mother with no support at night.

Im not there yet but heard that the 6-8 week period is hard! Something to do with them becoming more conscious I think. You've got this!!

My little boy is 6wks and 5days and has been fighting sleep in the day the last week or so. He doesn't sleep of a night time but has gone down from 2-3 hour stints to 1/1.5hrs - 2 if I'm lucky. He did have a nearly 4 hour stint to start the night last night which is completely new.

My partner sleeps through the night for work so I do it alone too, as well as the days unless I go to my mams.

Just taking each day as it comes as best I can. Hope it gets easier and better for you soon, just know that you're not alone x

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Bath Time

Help! My baby is 3 and a half weeks old. Every bath she goes in quite happy but will only stay like this for a very few mins, if I try to clean her or move her we have tears and after a few mins the same. It's like she is scared. Our current baby bath is quite big should I try a different one? Looking for any suggestions as want her to enjoy bath time not be upset and I'm scared I'm going to make her hate it😢💗

Crying during feeding

Hey mams! My girl is 6 weeks on Monday and is having so much trouble with feeding. It doesn’t happen every feed but more often than not she will start a bottle and just start crying as if she’s in pain and she can’t take the milk. I think it’s trapped wind but I genuinely don’t know what to do it’s so pitiful to see her not be able to feed! She’s formula fed and on HiPP Organic.
Anyone else been in this position? I’m pretty sure it’s just a bit of trapped wind that she needs to fart out but can’t! If anyone has any advice I’d be very grateful as I think I may need to tape my eyelids open soon 😂
