Have any big boobed mums been pumping? I find that no pumps work well for me! I have a good flow but when I pump it’s slow, I think it may be that the pumps are not squeezing the right parts.. any recommendations?

Flange size is correct? Are you using a wearable or portable or traditional?

40KK UK size here. I only found hand held ones did me any good, wearable or electric ones just didn't work well, I'd have to hold them into place anyway. The correct flange size is really important. Pop something on TV that gives you lots of oxytocin. Remember that not pumping much milk has no significance to your supply so please try not to worry x 💓
which hand held one are you using? Same here the electrics don’t stay on flat 🫣 I know I have a good enough supply for baby but I wish it would come out in pumping so I have a good stash for when we’re out and about!
I haven’t used a kit but I’ve tried 21 and 24 mm with same results, I’ve tried Mandela hand pump and the kissaboo electric wearable

I was a 34J for most the time I was pumping (bigger at the start, smaller towards the end!)
The pump isn’t meant to squeeze anything. It should just have suction on your nipple. Make sure you are using the right size flange so that only your nipple and not the skin around it is going into the flange. Many guides that come with pumps say measure your nip and add 3/4mm but the advice from my lactation consultant was only add 1-2mm. I ordered a pack of flange inserts and tried several till I got the right fit on each side. Big boobs does not mean a big flange!!
I had to do hands on pumping to get good flow, which meant massaging my breasts throughout the whole 20 minutes (I alternated between massaging left and right, although my left needed more attention to get anything out). Sounds like this might be the case for you too?
I used a Medela maxi swing. I found I couldn’t get good suction on hands free pumps at all. I had to hold them in place so what’s the point of that 😂😂

I’m currently a 40H and use the Momcozy S12 pump. Flange size is the one that came with it 24mm and it’s been fine

Wearable pumps like kissaboo are less effective and can lower milk supply if used exclusively
