Induction

I'm just wondering how it works with partner being with you when induced? I've been told that unless I'm in active labour while im in the hospital, they can only see me during visiting hours (which i understand because I wouldn't be in delivery room). But do they get to stay with you while you're induced? I have no idea how it works or what to expect and just want both of us to have some kind of heads up on what will happen

My partner was allowed to stay with me while I was induced. Each hospital will have their own policy

Ask your midwife/ hospital so you’re certain as each hospital will have its own policy 😊

My partner was allowed to stay with me the whole time I was there including being induced

Ask your midwife but I was induced and while yes partner. Coudl stay over. With us anyways as. Soon as my waters were broken I had my partner and. My mother. In law both my birthing. Partners with me x

Most of the time it's hospital dependent and also probably whether first baby or not. My hospital doesn't allow partners to stay overnight unless in active labour (4+cm). So I'm not looking forward to my induction (praying I go naturally before then) because I'm afraid he'll miss the birth... I think he'll probably be allowed to sdtay for the initial stages of the induction but given it's my first and could take days will probably have to leave me at some stage.
