Please help! I am 19 weeks pregnant and have been feeling okay except the pelvic floor discomfort. I spoke with my doctor and also have an appointment on Thursday but does anyone have any suggestions/ recommendations to help with the pain? I feel it where the hair is mostly on the left side. It’s a constant very strong discomfort that I now have for a week. Everyone is telling me it’s normal and not to worry about the baby. Okay great but every time I walk, sit, lay down, move in any way I feel it. I feel like I’m going crazy.
Anyone had anything similar? How long did it last? Did you do anything that helped?

I would do PT for pelvic floor. I did it after my first baby and it made such a big (great) difference. They will show you exercises you can do at home as well. I’ll do it again after my 2nd.

I had it awful with my first and it has started to become bad with this pregnancy too. Top pain lasted maybe a month but then I was getting big enough that my body was just sore in general all the time. I would sit with support pillows and honestly used a heating pad some. I look forward to pool days where I’m hoping water pressure can ease some discomfort

Can you tell me how this feels different from round ligament because I’ve been having pain too and I think it’s round ligament but not sure.

Sounds like round ligament or pubic symphysis pain. Make sure your legs are together before getting out of bed or out of the car. Definitely agree with pelvic floor physical therapy. I’ve been using the natal app and it helps a ton. No pain so far
im not sure of the difference between round ligament and pubic pain but I’ll let you know what the doctor will say on Thursday
