Medicine before C-section

No, don’t take anything but you can ask for something from them to calm nerves. They want to know and monitor everything you’ve taken before they administer their drugs. They can offer really good things to relax you if you need it xx

I was so nervous before my csection. Even though i have a history of anxiety, they wouldn't give me anything to calm my nerves before hand for fear it would cross the placenta

I had an emergency c-section and I was INCREDIBLY anxious and I asked for something to help and they gave me lorazepam in my IV. Helped a bunch!
